Welcome to ICSBOC 2026 in Malmö, Sweden!
It is a great honor to invite you to the 13th International Cable Supported Bridge Operators Conference (ICSBOC) taking place in Malmö, Sweden, September 13–17, 2026.
The Öresund Bridge—inaugurated on July 1, 2000—was built to create a bi‑national region in southern Sweden and eastern Denmark. This iconic bridge has facilitated a common labor and housing market, as well as increased business and everyday life opportunities across the Öresund Strait. We have built one bridge and continue to build bridges between people and opportunities.
Building bridges is also one of the reasons we are proud members of ICSBOA. I attended my first ICSBOC in 2008 in Takamatsu, Japan. It was a fantastic experience in many ways. It was my first visit to Japan, where I met colleagues from all over the world and we signed a Sister Bridge affiliation with the Seto Ohashi Bridge.
ICSBOA provides a valuable opportunity for a small company like Öresundsbron to learn from all of you and to share our findings and experiences. Together, we are stronger, and you can always find a bridge that has faced similar situations to you.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Malmö and look forward to an enriching and collaborative conference.
