ICSBOA.com gets an upgrade!
Dear ICSBOA member,
I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new ICSBOA website and online education and collaboration platform. As I indicated in my recent correspondence, the ICSBOA board has been working hard on a plan to ensure that our members not only stay connected, but also have access to the latest information, resources and tools to support the smooth and efficient operation of cable supported bridges around the world.
ICSBOA has responded to the circumstances presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic by creating an exclusive ICSBOA MS Teams site where we will deliver a robust and exclusive program of online regional owners’ workshops and a series of short international owners’ workshops on a variety of topics of interest to members that will be offered in 2021. As important, you will be able to collaborate and engage with other members in special interest discussion groups and meetings.
By now you should have received an invitation to join our ICSBOA members Team as a Guest. You will receive ongoing invitations to workshops, training and meetings as appropriate. Links for workshops will also be posted on the ICSBOA website. Where possible sessions will be recorded and will also be available on the site for those who may not be available to participate in real time. If you are an ICSBOA member and have not received an MS Team invitation, please contactat ICSBOA.
I am excited to use this virtual technology to expand our membership worldwide, build stronger connections, learn more about each other and emerge stronger than ever once the COVID-19 global crisis is over. I am confident that the tools we are building to get us through the short term will be equally valuable to ICSBOA well past the pandemic.
I look forward to seeing you all online in the coming months and in person when we can. In the meantime, please feel free to email me atwith any comments, questions and topics of interest that you might like to cover once we begin meeting again. If you operate or support the operation of a cable supported bridge and are not currently a member, please contact me. We would love to have you join our organization.
