Seto-Ohashi Bridges

Opened 10 April, 1988

Seto-Ohashi Bridges is a group of two-level, long-span bridges with road on upper deck and railway on lower deck, and passing through the center of the elegant archipelago in the Seto Inland Sea, which was the first in Japan to be designated as a national park. The sight of one of the world’s longest group of long-span bridges, suspension, cable-stayed and truss bridges, is truly spectacular.
