Opened 1 July, 2016

Named for the 14th century founder of the Ottoman dynasty, this six-lane bridge opened as the longest suspension bridge in Turkey in 2016 and—at the time—it had the world’s fourth longest span. A 420 km (260 mi) highway and bridge almost cuts in half the time to travel from İzmir and Istanbul.
