An iconic structure connecting the city of San Francisco to Marin County, California. It attracts more than 10 million visitors a year and 110,000 vehicles a day.
The Golden Gate is a mile-wide strait connecting the Pacific Ocean to San Francisco Bay. At the time the Golden Gate Bridge was constructed back in the 1930s, it was the world’s tallest and longest bridge.
